Synonymy: aureolana (Tengström, 1848) (Grapholitha) phacana (Wocke, 1864) (Grapholitha) Taxonomic Notes: Grapholita aureolana (Tengström, 1848) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico in Pohl et al. (2018).
