Description/
Field Marks:
Typically very dark, blackish. The only member of the walsinghami group with blue-gray scaling in the interfascial spot and in the ocellus.
Similar Species:
  • Epiblema iowana McDunnough, 1935 lacks the blue-gray scaling found in coracinana.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
