Distribution: Type locality: Waldo, OR.
Similar Species:
  • Barbara colfaxiana (Kearfott, 1907), possibly conspecific, is separated by slight differences in wing maculation and genitalia (see Heinrich (1920) and DNA barcode (both species are in the same BIN group).
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy: Evetria ulteriorana Heinrich, 1920
Taxonomic Notes: Barbara ulteriorana (Heinrich, 1920) was erroneously listed as a synonym Barbara mappana Freeman, 1941 in Pohl et al. (2016) following an erroneous listing in Tortricid.net. The two species are separated by genitalia and DNA barcode.
