Synonymy: hebesana (Walker, 1863) (Sciaphila) - MONA 1983: 2738 daeckeana (Kearfott, 1907) (Olethreutes) fullerea (Riley, 1870) (Penthina) gentianaeana of authors; (not Hübner, [1799]) (Tortrix) misid. inexpertana (Walker, 1863) (Carpocapsa) torquata (Meyrick, 1927) (Argyroploce) Taxonomic Notes: Endothenia hebesana (Walker, 1863) includes as a synonym daeckeana (Kearfott, 1907) in Miller (1983). The name gentianaeana (Hübner [1799]) (now regarded ass extralimital to NA) was erroneously applied to this species in Beebe (1954) (Miller 1983).
