Description/ Field Marks: See Razowski (1997: 130; figs. 89, 90 (♂ gen.)). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: discana (Kearfott, 1907) (Phalonia) - MONA 1983: 3819   Type locality: Cincinnati, OH. cricota (Meyrick, 1912) (Phalonia)   Type locality: unknown. Taxonomic Notes: Thyraylia discana (Kearfott, 1907), formerly in the genus Cochylis, was number 3818 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist).
