Similar Species: Rolandylis maiana (Kearfott, 1907) is best separated by genitalia. Rolandylis fusca Pogue, 2001 forewing ground color is fuscous, not cream as in virilia. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: virilia Pogue, 2001 (Rolandylis)   Type locality: Millinocket, ME. Taxonomic Notes: Rolandylis virilia Pogue, 2001 n. sp., Proc. Ent. Soc. Wash. 103: 792.
