Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: extrincicella Dyar 1900 (Choreutis) - MONA 1983: 2632; Type locality: Wisconsin extrinsecella Meyrick 1913 (Choreutis) Taxonomic Notes: Pseudocaloreas extrincicella (Dyar, 1900), n. comb. (Heppner 2021), was formerly in the genus Prochoreutis.
