Similar Species: Argyresthia pygmaeella is often confused with this species and may be extralimital to North America. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: chalcochrysa Meyrick, 1913 (Argyresthia) - MONA 1983: 2447   Type locality: "Canada, Parry Sound”.
