Distribution: Type locality: Colorado. Larva and Host Plants: Alnus spp. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Gracilaria alnivorella Chambers, 1875 • Tinea elongella of authors not Linnaeus, 1761
