Synonymy: obscurostrigella (Chambers, 1874) (Tinea) - MONA 1983: 0324   Type locality: Texas. longinella (Zagulajev, 1964) (Cephitinea) Taxonomic Notes: Cephimallota obscurostrigella (Chambers, 1874) was formerly in the genus Cephitinea, n. gen. syn. in Gaedike (2019).
