Field Marks:
C. dietziella and C. cyanella will be treated here as the 0212 - Cauchas dietziella species group for the purpose of placing undetermined photographs.
Similar Species:
  • Cauchas cyanella (Busck, 1915) is separated only by genitalia and DNA barcode.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • dietziella Kearfott 1908 (Incurvaria) - MONA 1983: 0212; Type locality: "Essex County Park, New Jersey."
