Distribution: West Texas Similar Species: 9765 Cirrhophanus dyari Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: chryseochilus (Dyar, 1909) (Basilodes); TL: Puebla, Mexico. Taxonomic Notes: Angulostiria chryseochilus (Dyar, 1909) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico; specimens collected from west Texas (Terrell Co.), Poole (1995), MONA Fascicle 26.1: 134.
