Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Taxonomic Notes: Condica hypocritica of authors; (not Dyar, 1907) has been reported from Texas as Condica hypocritica and as Condica subornata but it is neither of those species and remains unidentified and awaiting new species description. Treatment follows Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010), ZooKeys, 40: 65, 142.
