Synonymy: distinctoides Poole, 1989 (Caradrina) distincta (Barnes, 1928) (Athetis) preocc. Taxonomic Notes: Caradrina distinctoides: Formerly known as Caradrina distincta, the name distincta is a junior homonym of a Eurasian species. Formerly placed in the genus Platyperigea.
