Distribution: TX, AZ. Similar Species: Diastema cnossia lacks a dark spot between the basal and am. lines of the forewing. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: nr. morata Taxonomic Notes: Diastema nr. morata is a cryptic species from Texas and Arizona represented at BOLD by BIN AEA6596.
