Distribution: Holotype: USA: Florida, Desoto Co.: Nocatee. Similar Species: 8983.1 Meganola phylla tends to have a more solid miscoastal dark spot. Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: • Meganola georgei Troubridge, 2020 Taxonomic Notes: Meganola georgei Troubridge, 2020, n. sp., Insecta Mundi, 0789: 28; Fig. 21, 92, 131.
