Distribution: NC south to FL Panhandle and west to TX in swamp forests where there is standing. Description/ Field Marks: See ZooKeys, 39: 93 Genitalia: See ZooKeys, 39: 85-97. Similar Species: 8726 Gondysia smithii cannot be separated without DNA or dissection. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: telma (Sullivan, 2010) (Neadysgonia) Taxonomic Notes: Gondysia telma (Sullivan, 2010), n. sp., ZooKeys, 39: 93, was, formerly placed in the genus Neadysgonia, ZooKeys, 149: 103-106 ZooKeys, 149: 103-106.
