Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: striaepuncta (Herrich-Schäffer, 1868) (Palindia) STRAY obscura (Möschler, 1890) (Palindia) variabilis (Möschler, 1890) (Palindia) Taxonomic Notes: Eulepidotis striaepuncta: Reported from Florida by Dickel (1991).
