Description/ Field Marks: See description and key in Forbes (1954:395-339) Similar Species: Zanclognatha obscuripennis (Grote, 1872) typically has a darker ground color and a thicker pale st. line with dark shading on the proximal side thinner and less contrasting. Dissection may be required for poorly marked individuals. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
