Distribution: TX, CO and Mexico Similar Species: 8258 Bertholdia trigona Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: albipuncta of authors; not Schaus, 1896 (Bertholdia) MISAPPL. Taxonomic Notes: Bertholdia albipuncta of authors; not Schaus, 1896 listed as Bertholdia albipuncta Schaus, 1896 in Ferguson & Opler (2006) is an undescribed species in Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010), ZooKeys, 40: 20. The name "flammea", applied to this taxon in Rawlins (1983), an unpublished dissertation revising the genus Bertholdia, is unavailable.
