Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida. Similar Species: 8203 Halysidota tessellaris - dissection, DNA or larva required Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: harrisii (Walsh, 1864) (Halisidota) - MONA 1983: 8204 tessellaris Harris, 1841 (Halysidota)
