Field Marks:
Probably diurnal with small eyes unlike similar species.
Similar Species:
  • Apantesis nevadensis has larger eyes.

Synonymy:
  • eureka Ferguson & Schmidt 2007 (Grammia); Type locality: Holotype: Eureka, Juab Co., UT
  • Taxonomic Notes: Apantesis eureka (Ferguson & Schmidt, 2007), n. sp.: Zootaxa, 1405: 39-49, was formerly in the genus Grammia, Systematic Entomology: 41(4): 844-853.
