Synonymy: Heterocampa ruficornis Dyar, 1905
Taxonomic Notes: Macrurocampa ruficornis Dyar, 1905, n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly placed in the genus Cecrita in Becker (2014) who transferred it from Heterocampa.
