Similar Species:
  • Cecrita lunata Edwards, 1884 is best separated by genitalia where ranges overlap.

Taxonomic Notes: Cecrita plumosa (Edwards, 1886), rev. stat. and n. comb. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly a synonym of 7993 Cecrita lunata Edwards, 1884 in the 1983 Hodges Checklist.
