Distribution: AZ, NM - Miller et al. (2021) Type locality: Palmerlee, Cochise Co., AZ; Manitou, CO. Similar Species: Macrurocampa dorothea Dyar, 1896 Macrurocampa frisoni (Barnes & Benjamin, 1927) Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: Macrurocampa marthesia var. miranda Dyar, 1905 Taxonomic Notes: Macrurocampa miranda Dyar, 1905, rev. stat. in Miller et al. (2021), was formerly a synonym of Macrurocampa dorothea Dyar, 1896.
