Distribution: Canada: SK, AB; USA:NM (BOLD) (NM record appears to be confirmed by DNA).
Description/
Field Marks:
Wingspan: 19-24 mm.
Genitalia: See Plate 106 for images of both spread adult and genitalia in Ferris (2018).
Similar Species:
  • Eupithecia bowmani Cassino & Swett, 1923 is smaller, WS = 13-16 mm, with st. lines of both primaries and secondaries tending to be less obviously scalloped.
