Distribution: |
The range of decoloraria is uncertain and it may be replaced by alticolata in the southern Rockies. Type locality (X. d. decoloraria (Esper, [1806])): Europe. Type locality (X. d. convallaria (Guenée, [1858])): California. Type locality (X. d. nemorella Hulst, 1896): "California; Alaska; Aleutian Islands." |

- 7385 Xanthorhoe alticolata, aside from possibly range, cannot at present be distinguished from decoloraria except by the short pectinations of the male antennae.
