Distribution: Extreme southeastern AZ through southern NM east into western TX. Larva and Host Plants: Salvia pinguifolia and S. ballotiflora Genitalia: See Matson & Wagner, 2020 Similar Species: 7354 Stamnodes fervefactaria 7355 Stamnodes deceptiva Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: fergusoni Matson & Wagner, 2020 (Stamnodes); TL: Ranch Road 189 (30.1823° N, 100.06° W), Val Verde Co., TX. Taxonomic Notes: Stamnodes fergusoni Matson & Wagner, 2020, n. sp.
