Distribution: Canada: NL, NS, NB, PE, QC, ON; USA: ME, MI. Eurasia Genitalia: See Morris & Bolte (1977). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: alchemillata (Linnaeus, 1758) (Phalaena) - MONA 1983: 7320  alchemillaria (Borkhausen, 1794) (Phalaena) emend.  nassata (Fabricius, 1787) (Phalaena)  rivulata ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775) (Geometra)  silenata (Stephens, 1850) (Emmelesia) Taxonomic Notes: Perizoma alchemillata (Linnaeus, 1758), a introduced species from Eurasia, was first reported in North America from Newfoundland in Morris & Bolte (1977).
