Description/
Field Marks:
Single brood in Spring; ♂ antennae with from 31 to 38 pectinate segments, and 12 or 13 simple terminal segments, segments with parallel sides - Rindge (1968).
Genitalia: McDunnough (1940), Can. Entomol. 72(5): 91; fig. 5.
Similar Species:
  • Stenoporpia lea has a two broods, March to June and July to October. Best separated by ♂ antennae structure and female genitalia.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • graciella McDunnough, 1940 (Stenoporpia) - MONA 1983: 6476
      Type locality: Holotype: Huachuca Mts., AZ.
