Type locality (sectomaculata): Massachusetts, New York.
Type locality (perplexata): Provo, Utah.
Type locality (versitata): Clear Creek, Colorado.
Type locality (aspirata): Prescott, Arizona.
Similar Species:
  • 6326 M. aemulataria and 6331 M. promiscuata are nearly identical. The latter is larger and tends to be more boldly marked with more falcate wing tips and redder pm. band on underside of wings. Best separated by genitalia and size.
