Synonymy: • Speranza hesperata Ferguson, 2008 Taxonomic Notes: Macaria hesperata (Ferguson, 2008), n. sp., MONA Fascicle 17.2, p. 101. This species was described in the genus Speranza which is treated as a synonym of Macaria in Sihvonen & Skou (2015) following Scoble & Krüger (2002).
