Distribution: AZ, CO, TX based on BOLD BIN ACE3956 with specimens apparently misidentified as V. lugubrella. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: aegerella Neunzig, 1990 (Vitula); Holotype: Madera Canyon, 5,600' Santa Rita Mts., Santa Cruz Co., Arizona. Taxonomic Notes: Vitula aegerella Neunzig, 1990 n. sp., MONA Fascicle. 15.3.
