Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: tarmitalis (Hulst, 1886) (Pempelia) termitalis; (Munroe, 1983) (Nephopterix) missp. Taxonomic Notes: Sciota tarmitalis (Hulst, 1886) corrects spelling of termitalis in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). This species was transferred from the genus Nephopterix, MONA Fascicle 15.5.
