Distribution: Southeastern Canada and northeastern US west to Manitoba and Nebraska.
Similar Species:
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • carneella (Hulst, 1887) (Nephopteryx) - MONA 1983: 5798
      Type locality: New Mexico. (Apparently erroneous, Neunzig (2003); Heinrich (1956) suggested Maine.).
