Distribution: TX, FL. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: vacuana Walker 1863 (Rucuma); Type locality: Venezuala birectalis Hampson 1897 (Epitamyra) Taxonomic Notes: Salobrena vacuana (Walker, 1863) includes as a synonym Epitamyra birectalis Hampson, 1897 in Solis et al. 1995.
