Host familiy: Poaceae Detritophagous.  Host genera: Zea Detritophagous[plant].  Notes: Detritophagous, "many different plants" (Scholtens 1996); turfgrass (Solis 2008c); grasses (Heppner 2007); lab reared on corn silk (Allyson 1986).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025)
