Distribution: Texas - Blanchard & Knudson (1985). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: pharaxalis (Druce, 1895) (Pantographa); TL: Costa Rica. Taxonomic Notes: Bocchoropsis thalesalis (Druce, 1895) is returned to the list after being removed in Pohl et al. (2016) due to confusion with Botys pharaxalis Walker, 1859, a synonym of Herpetogramma licarsisalis (Walker, 1859), extralimital to NA.
