Distribution: USA: FL, TX, NM (there appears to be two clades, one from FL and the other from TX and NM (one specimen from NM identified by Munroe), narrowly separated by DNA barcode). Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: floridalis Barnes & McDunnough, 1913 (Loxostege) - MONA 1983: 4994; TL: Everglade, FL.
