Similar Species:
  • ledi from northern Europe and northern Yukon).
  • BOLD:ACI8280 (nr. ledi? from Canada: NL, PE, QC, NC, BC, YT).
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Taxonomic Notes: Lyonetia candida Braun, 1916 was treated as a synonym of L. ledi in Kuroko (1964:23) without explanation. The synonymy was not recognized in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and is rejected by Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023). Specimens from California are well separated by DNA barcode from those in Europe and northern Yukon.
