Distribution:	USA: Cochise, Pima, and Santa Cruz Cos., AZ.
Larva and Host Plants:	Celtis reticulata (hackberry)
Description/ Field Marks:	Tarsi banded. All wings white with gray shade of basal half of the ventral forewing costa, lacking in similar species.
Similar Species:	Norape cretata (=N. ovina of authors) has white legs and is absent west of Texas. Norape virgo has black legs. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:	sorpresa Wagner & Matson, 2022 (Norape); Holotype: USA: AZ: Pima Co., Santa Rita Experimental .
