  • Taxonomic Notes: Junonia neildi Brévignon, 2004, formerly a subspecies of [4442.1] Junonia genoveva (Cramer, 1780), is elevated to full species status in Brévignon (2009). The subspecies J. n. varia Grishin, 2020 replaces the names litoralis and genoveva in Texas. The species genoveva and litoralis are now treated as extralimital north of Mexico in Cong et al. (2020).
