Taxonomic Notes: |
Pterourus glaucus (Linnaeus, 1758) was formerly placed in the genus Papilio. The name Pterourus was treated as a valid genus in Miller & Brown (1981) and as a synonym of Papilio in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). Subsequent authors, i. e. Tyler et al. (1994), Lamas (2004) and Shiraiwa & Grishin (2014), have retained Pterourus as valid. |
