Taxonomic: Notes Spinipogon harmozones: Spinipogon harmozones Razowski, 1986 includes as a synonym 3842.1 Spinipogon thes of authors; not Razowski & Becker, 1983. Apparently, a single specimen, collected by Ed Knudson from Cameron Co., TX and identified by Michael Pogue as Spinipogon thes, was later determined by John W. Brown to be Spinipogon harmozones.
