Identifications at BOLD for species in Cochylini are often confused. Per Gilligan et al. (2020), the correct BIN for maiana is BOLD:AAM0777, see References for BIN link. |

- Rolandylis fusca Pogue, 2001 forewing ground color is fuscous, not cream as in maiana.
- Rolandylis virilia Pogue, 2001 is best separated by genitalia.
