Distribution: Introduced species from Eurasia found in Ontario.

  • impervia (Meyrick, in: Joannis, 1930) (Cacoecia)
  • piceana (Linnaeus, 1758) (Phalaena)
  • similis (Butler, 1879) (Cacoecia)
  • Taxonomic Notes: Archips oporana (Linnaeus, 1758) was added to Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) based on specimens collected in Vancouver, BC and Font Hill, ON (Freeman 1958:16). Those specimens cannot be found and are considered unconfirmed, however, the species appears to persist in Ontario with recent DNA tested specimens at BOLD and sightings posted on iNaturalist.
