Distribution: USA: Florida; Bahamas; Costa Rica. Description/ Field Marks: This species has both monochromatic and dichromatic variants for both males (mostly monochromatic) and females (evenly distributed). Monochromatic specimens tend to be evenly colored, lacking the more pale scaling in the outer third of desotanum. Similar Species: 51a1390.6 Gymnandrosoma desotanum Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
