Distribution: Type locality: Evaro, MT. Seasonality and Size: Flight: April to June Larva and Host Plants: Larix occidentalis and Pseudotsuga taxifolia in western states. Genitalia: See Heinrich (1926) figs. 155, 317. Similar Species: Cydia candana has the white costal markings more evenly distributed, not paired, giving the costal margin a whitish appearance. In laricana the markings are paired and often fused, one pair at the start of the median fascia (anti-median), which is not always present, followed by four more. Pinned specimens of related species.
