Distribution: Southeastern and southwestern US. Similar Species: Cydia marita has a white st. line lacking in tantilla and the pm. band is set further from the outer margin. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: tantilla Heinrich, 1926 (Satronia) - MONA 1983: 3415   Type locality: Holotype: "Florida, Alachua Co., Archer".
