Distribution: USA: WA to southern CA and east to MT, KS and NM Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: kandana (Kearfott, 1907) (Eucosma) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; Lectotype: Utah, Tooele County, Stockton, T. Spalding Note: designated by Klots 1942 argillacea (Meyrick, 1912) (Eucosma); TL: (no type). Note: Unjustified replacement name. perdricana of authors; (not Walsingham, 1879) (Paedisca) misid. Taxonomic Notes: Pelochrista kandana (Kearfott, 1907) is elevated from synonymy of perdricana in Wright (2007) and transferred to the genus Pelochrista in Gilligan, T.M. & D.J. Wright, 2013.
